Virtual Vision Test by Warby Parker: A Convenient Way to Renew Your Prescription

If your current glasses or contacts prescription has expired, but you're still seeing well, Virtual Vision Test by Warby Parker offers a simple and convenient solution. In just 10 minutes, using only your phone, you can renew your prescription from the comfort of your own home.

Pricing:
<ul>
 <li>You will only be charged if our doctors are able to renew your prescription.</li>
 <li>Within 48 hours, you will receive a response from our doctors. If your prescription is renewed, the cost will be $15 for either glasses or contacts, or $25 for both.</li>
 <li>If our doctors determine that an in-person, comprehensive eye exam is necessary instead of renewing your prescription, you will not be charged.</li>
</ul>

Eligibility:
To use Virtual Vision Test, you must meet the eligibility requirements set by state regulations and our doctors. This test is suitable for individuals who:

<ul>
 <li>Are between 18 and 65 years old.</li>
 <li>Do not reside in Alaska, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington, or West Virginia.</li>
 <li>Have a single-vision distance Rx (not readers or progressives).</li>
 <li>Have no eye health concerns or symptoms.</li>
 <li>Are currently satisfied with their vision when using their existing glasses or contacts.</li>
</ul>

How it Works:
The process is as simple as reading an eye chart at a doctor's office but on your phone. All that's needed is your eyeballs, your glasses or contacts, and your phone.

<ol>
 <li>We will guide you through a simple but thorough eligibility quiz to ensure that the app is suitable for you.</li>
 <li>If you meet the eligibility criteria, the app will walk you through an equally straightforward vision test. This test needs to be completed in a quiet, well-lit area where you have about 10 feet of space.</li>
 <li>Within approximately 48 hours, an eye doctor will evaluate your results. If it is determined that your current prescription is still effective, the doctor may renew it. The cost for one renewed prescription is $15 or $25 for both glasses and contacts.</li>
</ol>

Disclaimer: Virtual Vision Test by Warby Parker is not a comprehensive eye exam and should not be considered a replacement for regular visits to your eye doctor. It is essential to have periodic eye health examinations, even if no vision problems are present.
